Solving physics problems, a teachers' workshop
Peterhouse, in collaboration with the British Physics Olympiad, is excited to announce a one-day workshop on solving physics problems on Saturday 18th June 2016. The day will cover extending able students in class through providing extension classes to help them explore their interest in physics. Teachers with experience in stretching students in physics will be present to offer advice, suggestions, ideas and answer questions. It will also include a session from physics and mathematics interviewers and Admissions Tutors from Peterhouse on supporting applicants in these subjects. If you would like to express interest in attending, please complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Teachers will have the chance to work through several problems (at A level) in small groups and to take away resources and materials. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Unfortunately we won’t be able to offer parking at Peterhouse and would recommend that if you’re driving to Cambridge you use one of the city’s Park and Ride services.
If you have any questions, please contact the Peterhouse Schools Liaison Officers.
