How to help tax efficiently
Members of the College and others who are resident in the U.S.A. enjoy special arrangements to allow their gifts to Peterhouse to be made in a tax-efficient way. Gifts in any sum, including legacies, may be donated to 'Cambridge in America' (CAm) for the benefit of Peterhouse.
Cambridge in America is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, which funds grants that benefit Cambridge University and its member colleges. Gifts to Cambridge in America qualify for an income tax deduction for the donor, to the limits allowed by U.S. law. In making your gift, please ask the Directors of CAm to exercise their discretion by allocating your gift to Peterhouse. Cambridge in America enjoys the College's complete trust and confidence as a straightforward and well-run tax vehicle. Donors can be completely confident that a donation intended for Peterhouse will go direct to Peterhouse.
