Special Services

The Corporate Communion for the Lent Term will take place on Friday 27 January at 6.00pm, and will mark the Feast of the Conversion of St Paul. The preacher will be the Dean. All members of College are warmly invited to this service and afterwards to supper in the Combination Room.

The Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple will be observed on Thursday 2 February, with a service of Holy Communion at 8.00am, which will be celebrated according to the Book of Common Prayer.

The Commemoration of Benefactors will take place on Friday 3 February at 7.00pm. The preacher will be the Rev’d Robert Evans.

Ash Wednesday falls on 1 March, when there will be a service of Holy Communion with the Imposition of Ashes at 6.00pm.

Sermon Series

The preachers on Sunday evenings during the Lent Term have all been asked to expound passages from the Book of Genesis.

Bible Study

This will take place in the Dean’s rooms on Wednesday afternoons (at a time to be confirmed) from 25 January until the end of Term. We shall be reading the Book of Genesis. All are welcome.

Alms

During the Lent Term, the Chapel will be supporting Jimmy’s, a charity that provides help for the homeless in Cambridge.

Chapel Retreat

The annual Chapel Retreat will take place in Parcevall Hall, in Yorkshire, from 17 March to 19 March.  It will be led by the Rt Rev'd Graeme Knowles, who is an Honorary Assistant Bishop in the Diocese of Ely.   Please speak to the Dean or the Assistant Chaplain if you would like to attend.
