There is wireless access (Eduroam) available throughout the Library. All desks in the Gunn Gallery are networked: connection leads may be obtained from the Library Desk.
Seven networked computers are situated in the West Rooms, off the Gunn Gallery and in the Law Library. These computers are in addition to those in the College's Computer Room in the Theatre Basement. There is also an A4 monochrome laser printer in the ground floor West Room. See Computing for more information.
Two further computers give access to the Ward Library catalogue. These are situated, respectively, near the Front Doors and in the Lower West Room.
You may bring your laptop into the Library but please remove oversized laptop bags first and leave them in the Cloakroom area. All desks in the Gunn Gallery are networked: connection leads may be obtained from the Library Desk. There is wireless (Eduroam) throughout the Library.
A multi-function colour printer, photocopier and scanner is available in the Lower Computer Room. UIS charges apply: 5p for an A4 black and white printout/copy and 20p for an A4 colour printout/copy. Scanning to email or USB is free of charge.
A monochrome photocopier stands next to the Library Desk. Charges are 5 pence per sheet for A4, and 8 pence for A3. Bills for photocopying may be paid in cash or may be left on your Library record until the end of Term
See the computing page for more information: Computing at Peterhouse.
A microfiche reader is situated in the Upper West Room.
A large number of on-line journals, databases and e-books are available via eresources@cambridge on the Cambridge University Library website.
The Library has a collection of DVDs, kept near the Library Desk. During term you may borrow one DVD in addition to your book allowance, and on the same conditions. They can be found on the Ward Library catalogue by adding "and DVD" to the usual search terms and selecting the "Words or phrase" or "Title" searches.
