Alumni & Development Assistant (36.25 hours per week)

Salary £22,363 to £23,730

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join the Development Team at Peterhouse as an Alumni & Development Assistant to provide administrative support in the College’s busy Development Office. 

The post holder will play an important part in assisting the Development team with a full and varied programme of events and supporting its fundraising activities.  This newly created role provides an opportunity for a ‘people person’ with an interest in developing their career in the growing field of development and alumni relations and is a key member of the Development Office.  You should be well organised, pro-active, have good people skills and excellent attention to detail as well as a confidential approach to work.

The holiday entitlement is 25 days per annum plus 8 bank and public holidays.  The College provides car parking whilst on duty (subject to availability).  The College offers an auto-enrolled pension scheme to eligible employees, after 3 months’ completed service.  Lunch is provided free of charge when on duty over lunchtime and when the College kitchens are open. We also offer Medicash, a medical cashback scheme. The post holder may be required to work during events outside of the normal office hours (advance notice and time off in lieu will be given)
