Human Resources Manager (part time)
20- 25 hours per week over four days
£39,396 - £46,159 per annum pro rata
Peterhouse has over 100 non-academic employees and over 30 academic employees and is seeking to appoint a Human Resources Manager. The post-holder will report to the Senior Bursar with oversight from the Staff Committee, and be responsible for delivering a comprehensive HR service, including advice on best practice, case-work, day-to-day HR administration and other HR activities associated with the non-academic staff. These activities include recruitment, maintaining personnel files, maintaining and implementing HR policies and the Employee Handbook, co-ordinating and supporting an appraisal process, advising managers on employment-related issues, and advising on employment law. The post-holder will be a highly experienced HR professional with exceptional interpersonal skills, sensitivity and understanding, able to work effectively with a very broad range of employees and sympathetic to Peterhouse’s distinctive collegiate working culture.
