Group awarded funding for their innovative project

Three Peterhouse PhD students have developed an innovative software platform to help control the spread of Covid-19 in refugee camps.

Victor Parchment, Jennifer Ward George and Alex Tsompanidis pooled their combined expertise in medical software, engineering design and medicine to develop software aimed at streamlining Covid-19 triage and eventually providing an early warning system to help control the spread of infection in displaced communities and refugee camps. Their project has just been awarded funding by Innovate UK, the UK’s Innovation agency.

We send them our warmest congratulations.
