Special Services and Events
Acting Dean's Port: Members of the college community are invited to join the Acting Dean and Chapel Officers for a glass of port or soft drink in the Combination Room, from 8.30pm on Friday 19 January and Monday 12 February.
Corporate Communion will take place on Friday 26 January at 6.00pm, when we will be celebrating the Feast of the Conversion of Paul. All members of College are warmly invited to this service, and to the supper in the Combination Room afterwards.
The Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Candlemas) will be observed on Friday 2 February with a service of Holy Communion at 8.00am, celebrating according to Common Worship (in traditional language). Incense will be used at this service.
The Commemoration of Benefactors will also take place on Friday 2 February, at 7.00pm. The preacher will be The Rev'd Robert Beresford, alumnus of the college, and Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church of St Agatha, Kingston-upon-Thames.
Ash Wednesday will be observed on Wednesday 14 Feburary, with a choral service of Holy Communion and Imposition of Ashes at 6.00pm.
The anniversary of the Dedication of the Chapel will be commemorated (a day early) on Friday 16 March, with a service of Holy Communion at 8.00am. This will be celebrated according to the Book of Common Prayer.

The preachers at Sunday Evensong will be exploring passages from the opening chapters of the Book of Daniel.
Discussion Groups will continue this term, with an opportunity to study the Book of Daniel in greater detail. If you would like to join a group, please speak to the Acting Dean.

The Annual Chapel Retreat will take place at the Sheldon Centre, near Exeter, from Friday 16 March to Sunday 18 March. The retreat leader will be the Rev'd Christopher Irvine, Canon Librarian of Canterbury Cathedral.
During the Lent Term, the Chapel will be supporting the work of Christian Aid.
