We are pleased to announce that all events can now be booked online, this will not only cut down on paper post, but will also allow you to pay directly and securely with your debit or credit card.
You will need to register an account at UpayChilli. UpayChilli is a system that the College has been using for student events for nearly two years and we have decided to roll it out to alumni.The Affiliate code you need to create an account is 'Petrean'.
Cross Keys Dinner, Friday 22 February 2019
Students will be hosting their annual Cross Keys Dinner on Friday 22 February. They would love to see as many sporting Petreans there as possible. Qualifying criteria will be sent out shortly and booking will open in January.
Student Medics Dinner, Saturday 23 February 2019
Current students would be delighted if Petreans were able to join them for their annual Medics Dinner. Invitations to those who studied medicine have been sent out. If you have not received an invitation and would like to attend please contact Holly Ashcroft.
Careers Event, Thursday 14 March 2019
Some of you have been good enough to offer to speak at or have taken part in, our recent career evenings, which are held for the benefit of our current students. We are particularly interested in hearing from those who work in the arts, media, Government or for charities. If you or your firm would be interested in offering this great opportunity to our students, please contact Holly.
Engineering Dinner, Friday 15 March 2019
On 15 March 2019, a dinner for all Petreans who read and/or work in Engineering will be held in College. Although we will endeavour to ensure that all those who studied or now work in these fields are invited, our records are not always up to date in terms of careers. If you would like to receive an invitation, please contact Holly with the relevant details of your career so that we can update your record and add you to the list. If you are eligible but not able to join us, please do get in touch so that we can update your record anyway. Invitations will be sent out in the New Year. Current students will also be encouraged to attend the dinner.
Garrick Club Dinner, Friday 10 May 2019
Following on from the success of the Carlton Club dinner in February 2018, the Peterhouse Society has decided to hold a similar event in 2019 at the Garrick Club. Booking will open in Lent Term.

The 2019 Golf Day will take place at the GogMagog Golf Club followed by dinner in College. Booking information will be released in Lent Term.
The May Bumps Garden Party, Saturday 15 June 2019
The Master of Peterhouse has arranged for the use of a private garden (thanks to the generosity of a friend of the College) near the Plough at Fen Ditton, Cambridge, to watch the Men’s and Ladies’ First Division of the May Bumps. Exact timings and booking information will be released in Lent Term.
The Peterhouse May Ball, Friday 21 June 2019
We are excited to announce that the 2019 May Ball will have a limited number of special VIP tickets reserved for alumni to purchase. The tickets cost £220 each and include a drinks reception in the Master’s Lodge, queue jump and access to a special VIP area within the Ball. Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis and will go on sale in January.
Annual Gathering, Saturday 29 June 2019
With this newsletter you will find an invitation for this year's annual Peterhouse Society Gathering at the College. Petreans are welcome to invite a guest to attend, although they must be over 18. The Gathering is taking a slightly different format this year, beginning at 3.00 p.m. with a Champagne garden party, followed by student talks, AGMs and the dinner. Please see the enclosed programme for full details. Overnight accommodation is available on a first-come first-served basis, but please bear in mind that College rooms only offer basic single or twin accommodation and that the majority of the rooms will be in St Peter’s Terrace. Peterhouse Family Day, Sunday 15 September 2019
On Sunday 15 September the College will once again be delighted to welcome Petreans with their children and/or grandchildren to a Party in the College. There will be a BBQ and a programme of children’s entertainment as well as refreshments more suited to the grown-ups. It will be an occasion for Petreans to bring their families to enjoy the College and its gardens in the company of friends. In previous years this event has been fully booked so we would advise early booking. Limited parking may be available subject to weather and ground conditions at the time. Booking will open in Lent Term.
William Stone Society and 1284 Circle Luncheon, Saturday 21 September 2019
A lunch for members of the William Stone Society and the 1284 Circle, together with partners/spouses, will be held on Saturday 21 September 2019. Invitations will be sent out in July.
Petrean Dinner for those matriculating between 1996 - 2000, Saturday 21 September 2019
Petreans who matriculated in the years between 1996 - 2000 are warmly invited to attend the Petrean Dinner on Saturday 21 September. Invitations and further details will be circulated in early summer to all members who matriculated in the years concerned. Dinner will be at 8.00 p.m., with pre-dinner drinks from 7.30 p.m.
Peterhouse Remembrance Day Service, Sunday 10 November 2019
The Service will be held in the Chapel at 6.00 p.m. Members wishing to dine afterwards should contact the Development Office. Petreans who have served in the Armed Forces are especially encouraged to attend.
London drinks’ evening, Thursday 21 November 2019
The West End London drinks’ evening will be held on Thursday 15 November, from 6.30 p.m. onwards at the Oxford and Cambridge Club. Booking for this event will open in Michaelmas Term 2018. As in previous years we expect to have an interesting speaker.
Peterhouse London Carol Service, Wednesday 4 December 2019
The London Carol service will be on Wednesday 4 December at St-Vedast-alias-Foster, at 6.30 p.m. Drinks will be served after in the Church Hall. Booking for this event will open in Michaelmas Term 2019.
