Peterhouse is proud and delighted to announce that Petrean and Honorary Fellow Sam Mendes has won Best Director at this year’s Olivier Awards for The Ferryman.

Sam visited the College in February 2018 and held a lively question and answer session with students in the Peterhouse Theatre. The session ranged from his time at Peterhouse to his rise through the ranks to become a critically acclaimed award winning theatre and film director, and gave thoughtful insights into the theatre and film industry today.
