The Admissions Team

We at Peterhouse are always happy to help prospective students, parents or teachers. You can phone or email us, look us up on The Student Room, Facebook or follow us on Twitter. We have two Schools Liaison Officers, an Admissions Coordinator and three Admissions Tutors.

Martin Thompson, Amber-Page Moss and Ellie Bishop are Peterhouse's Schools Liaison Team.

Martin is the Admissions Coordinator and Schools Liaison Manager and graduated from Magdalene College for the first time in June 2007, having studied Natural Sciences, and for the second time in 2014 having completed a PhD in butterfly genetics in collaboration with the Natural History Museum. Before coming to Cambridge, he attended a selective school in Liverpool. When not in the office, Martin is a beekeeper and spends his spare time chasing swarms around Cambridgeshire and trying not to get stung.

Amber-Page studied Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic specialising in Anglo-Saxon Merseyside at Sidney Sussex College and graduated in 2015. She attended an academy in Liverpool. In her spare time she writes and performs spoken-word poetry.

Ellie Bishop studied English at Girton College, graduating in June 2017. Before Cambridge, she attended a comprehensive school in Brighton and so she misses the sea a lot. When not in the office, Ellie enjoys cycling, which proves very easy in Cambridge due to the city’s complete lack of hills!

Sam Barron is the Access Officer for the JCR, the undergraduate student committee.

Scott Mandelbrote is the College's Admissions Tutor in the Arts, whilst Sophie Jackson and András Zsák are Admissions Tutors in the Sciences. All are very happy to answer any questions you may have, but contact should be made through the Admissions Office.
