Divine Service during Lent Full Term

The regular programme of services begins on Monday 14th January and ends on Friday 15th March. Refurbishment work is now almost complete, and all services are taking place inside the chapel.

Sunday

Holy Communion, followed by breakfast: 9:00am
Choral Evensong, followed by drinks in the Combination Room: 6:00pm

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Morning Prayer: 8:15am
Evening Prayer: 7:00pm

Wednesday

Morning Prayer: 8:15am
Choral Evensong or Evening Prayer: 6:30pm

Special Services and Events

Corporate Communion will take place on Thursday 24 January at 6.00pm, when we will be celebrating the Eve of the Feast of the Conversion of Paul. All members of College are warmly invited to this service, and to supper in the Combination Room afterwards.

The Commemoration of Benefactors will take place on Friday 1 February, at 7.00pm. The preacher will be Dr Philip McCosker, alumnus of the college, and Vice Master of Saint Edmund’s College, Cambridge.

The Feast of the Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Candlemas) will be observed at services on Sunday 3rd February, which will take place at the usual times.

A short, candlelit service of Choral Compline (night prayers) will take place on Monday 4 March, at 9.00pm.

Ash Wednesday will be observed on Wednesday 6 March, with a choral service of Holy Communion and Imposition of Ashes at 6.00pm.

The sermons at Sunday Evensong this term will explore passages from the Epistle to the Philippians.
