Meet our team of callers for January's Telephone Campaign!

Rebecca Vincent
Rebecca Vincent (m. 2017)

Rebecca is enjoying studying for an M.Phil. in Theology, Religion, and Philosophy of Religion, having completed a degree in Theology in Peterhouse last year.  She also likes to be involved with the Chapel and to go on walks with friends.

Trudy Yates
Trudy Yates (m. 2018)

Trudy is a third-year historian, specialising in British political history. She is committed to increasing participation in higher education, and as Access Officer for the Cambridge Union, she has arranged workshops for children from across the UK.  In her spare time, she enjoys baking and hiking, and hopes to complete the Three Peaks Challenge in July 2021. 

Ally Louks
Ally Louks (m. 2020)

Ally is a first year Ph.D. student in the Faculty of English. She is on the Criticism and Culture pathway, which means that her work has an interdisciplinary and theoretical bent. She works on Olfactory Ethics, which analyses how the language of smell has been used to confer and marginalise group identities.  She is the English Ph.D. Rep., the First-Year Rep. on the MCR committee, and is setting up a Campus Bands Cambridge Society for those who love to play and listen to live music. 

Annabel Gooden
Annabel Gooden (m. 2020)

Annabel is an M.Phil. student of Modern British History. She is from Hertfordshire and studied at the University of St Andrews before coming to Cambridge. She has enjoyed getting involved in life at Peterhouse and now sits on the MCR Committee. She has also joined the College’s new running club and enjoys playing the cello in her free time.

Naomi Odeyemi
Naomi Odeyemi (m. 2020)

Naomi is a first-year student reading law.  She is an active member of the College, and is a Peterhouse representative and a Peterhouse moot participant. She is also a member of the Cambridge Poetry and Prose Society, which writes and publishes books for the community.

Thomas McBridge
Thomas McBride (m. 2020)

Thomas is in his first year studying Chinese.  He is from Lewisham in South East London and likes reading and programming in his spare time.

Walid Elmi
Walid Elmi (m. 2020)

Walid is studying for an M.Phil. in Criminology. Before coming to Peterhouse, Walid completed his undergraduate studies at the University of York. In his spare time, Walid volunteers as a Special Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police Service.

Cicely Podmore
Cicely Podmore (m. 2017)

Cicely is a fourth-year student studying MML, and specialising in Russian. She has recently returned from a year abroad in Siberia where temperatures were -30 throughout the winter. She is happy to be back to the relative warmth of Cambridge this year, and to be picking up the Ukrainian language. When she is not studying, she enjoys rowing for Peterhouse and going for runs around Cambridge. 

Matthew Thal
Matthew Thal (m. 2017)

Matthew studied Classics at Peterhouse before moving on to an M.Phil. in History, researching later Byzantine thinkers.  In his spare time, he enjoys cricket, cross-country and modernist verse.

Caitlin Farrell
Caitlin Farrell (m. 2020)

Caitlin is from Croydon in South London, where she has lived all her life.  She is reading English and in her spare time enjoys debating, writing, acting and playing College sports.

Daniel Tian
Daniel Tian (m. 2019)

Daniel is a second-year law student.  He is from Canberra, Australia. When he is not busy reading cases and writing essays, Daniel can be spotted on the badminton court or running around Cambridge. He is also an active member of the Law Society and is captain of the Peterhouse Badminton Club.

Megan Driver
Megan Driver (m. 2020)

Megan is from London and is a first-year History and Politics student.  She enjoys running, football, singing and discussing philosophy.  She is also a keen rower with the Peterhouse Boat Club.
