Bible Study & Discussion Group

The Acting Dean will host a Bible Study and a book group for students this term. Details will follow in the Chapel emails or you can email her to express interest.  

 

SPECIAL SERVICES

October 6th:  The beginning of Freshers’ Week will be marked with a service of Holy Communion at 9.00 am, followed by a free breakfast in Upper Hall. All members of College are warmly invited, especially our new students.

October 13th: The Freshers’ Evensong will take place at 6.00 pm, followed by drinks in the Combination Room and then pizza in Upper Hall. 

October 28th: A candlelit service of Choral Compline (sung night prayer) will take place in Chapel at 9.00 pm to celebrate the Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, followed by hot cocoa in the antechamber. 

November 1st: The Commemoration of John Cosin will be observed at 7.00 pm with an evening office taken from A Collection of Private Devotions by former Master Dr John Cosin (1592-1672).

November 3rd: The Feast of All Saints will be observed at Communion and Choral Evensong in Chapel on Sunday at the usual times.

November 10th: Remembrance Sunday will be marked at the beginning of Choral Evensong at 6.00 pm with an Act of Remembrance and Two Minute Silence.

November 13th: The choir will sing a Joint Evensong with the Choir of Ely College on Wednesday at the usual time in Chapel.

November 14th: Corporate Communion will take place on Thursday in Chapel at 6.00 pm, followed by supper in the Combination Room for those attending. Supper is booked via Upay. 

November 25th: A second service of Choral Compline (sung night prayer) will take place in Chapel at 9.00 pm, followed by cocoa. 

December 1st:  The Advent Carol Service will take place in Chapel at 6.00 pm. 

December 5th: The Christmas Carol Service will take place in Chapel on Thursday at 6.00 pm.
