Undergraduate Open Days
Peterhouse Open Days in 2026 will be on the following dates:
- Mathematics Open Day - TBC but likely April/May
- College and University Open Days on 9th and 10th July 2026
- College Open Day on 11th September 2026
A typical Open Day timetable
Last year we welcomed over 3000 visitors to the college grounds as part of the university wide open days.
The timetable for these events was as follows. Please note that this might be subject to change in 2026.
9:30am-4:30 pm - Information Stands, Bar Lounge
This is an opportunity to read information about various aspects of college life, including accommodation, facilities, and student societies. You can also pick up a Peterhouse-specific subject leaflet.
9:30am-4:30 pm - Guided Tours, Main Entrance
Take a tour of the college grounds, lead by our Student Ambassadors, who are current undergraduates at Peterhouse. Tours will begin when a reasonably sized group has gathered, and will last between 30 and 40 minutes.
12pm-1pm - Subject Fair, Deer Park
This is a chance to speak to the Director of Studies (DoS) of the subject you are interested in.
Get accessibility information for college buildings linked here. Accessible parking or quiet spaces during the open days can be made available upon request. Please contact admissions@pet.cam.ac.uk with any particular accessibility requirements or concerns.
If you have any other open day enquiries, or would like to share any feedback on these events please contact admissions@pet.cam.ac.uk.
Self-guided Tours
Peterhouse is closed to general visitors, although we are still open to prospective applicants who would like to take a self-guided tour of the grounds. Prospective applicants and their supporters should report to the Porters' Lodge on arrival and the Porters will be able to provide further directions if necessary. Please note that you will not be able to enter student accommodation or the library. We request that visitors keep their group sizes small.

The Admissions Tutors are happy to respond to specific queries, which should be directed in the first instance to the Admissions Team.

I love showing prospective students around Cambridge, as showing them all the quirks of the city, and within Peterhouse, gets me to appreciate the University anew.
