One of your priorities will be to ensure you are connected to the University's network and can use your university e-mail address.

First step - set up your User Account

  • Collect your CRSid (username) and password

If you haven't already setup your University accounts (Hermes, Raven, and Desktop Services):-

  • Collect your CRSid and password - University Sign-Up website. To identify yourself  you will need your UCAS number (undergradutes) or your BoGS number (graduates).
  • Change your password - UIS Password Mangement Application

Next Step: Collect your Network Access Token (Eduroam Wireless Token)

  • Eduroam is a University-Wide Wireless network, available on Peterhouse sites and other University Buildings and departments. There are two parts to the token:

  • Your username: This is your Cambridge University email address which will end in 'cam.ac.uk'
  • Your password: This is your Network Access Token (16 lowercase alphabetic characters).
  • Make sure you have set up your University user account

  • Then Collect your token

Last step: configure your devices by downloading the Connection Tool

  • Go to the Eduroam For Cambridge users page on the UIS website and download the Correct Tool for your operating system. (The Links are about halfway down the page). Follow the on-screen instructions to install the tool. You will be prompted for your Network Username and Network Access token.
