New climate 'feedback loop' discovered in freshwater lakes - Dr Andrew Tanentzap

10 May 2018

A study authored by Dr Andrew Tanentzap (Department of Plant Sciences) has discovered a new mechanism that has the potential to cause increasingly more greenhouse gases to be produced by freshwater lakes. The research tries to understand how changes in the vegetation around lakes will impact their productivity and carbon cycling.
