The Blue Boat Crews Announced for The Gemini Boat Race 2022.

Following months of intense physical training and mental perseverance, the rowing teams have been announced for  The Boat Race 2022. The iconic race returns to the championship course along the banks of the River Thames in London on Sunday 3rd April, after two years of absence.

Peterhouse congratulates each and everyone of the athletes, dedicated coaches and support teams. We are especially proud of the four Petreans selected for the 167th Men’s Boat Race.

Together, they have made history by forming the greatest number of Petreans selected to represent the University of Cambridge light blues. Mr Clive Keeler, the Peterhouse Boat Club Manager and Coach believes this could possibly be a first for the University too.

Let’s hope it’s another first on the day!

Meet the Crew:

From the top: Tom George and Ollie Wynne-Griffith, both from the Bronze medal winning GB VIII+ crew in Tokyo, are joined by fellow Petrean George Finlayson and Ollie Parish. Ollie Parish was also in the victorious Cambridge boat in 2021.
