Meals are available at the following times during the main licence period:

Breakfast

Is served from 8.00 – 9.30 am on weekdays

Brunch is served from 10.30 am – 1.30 pm on Saturdays

There is no breakfast on Sundays

Luncheon

Is served from 12.00 noon – 1.30 pm on weekdays

Brunch is served from 10.30 am – 1.30 pm on Saturdays

There is no luncheon on Sundays

Dinner

Self-service dinner is served from 5.45 – 6.45 pm daily

Meals during the Easter Vacation

There are periods within each of the vacations when the kitchens are closed completely. However, luncheon may be available on weekdays during the Easter Vacation when the kitchens are open to provide other lunches.

 

Payment for meals and drinks can be made by using either a valid University Multipurpose Security Card, or the Upay QR code on a mobile phone. The cost will automatically be deducted from the balance held on the individual’s Upay account. Meal prices are variable, dependent on individual choice of dishes, with prices set at levels which attempt to ensure that food costs are covered overall. Prices may move throughout the year in line with market / manufacturers’ movements. Meals taken by Junior Members’ guests can be deducted from the host’s UPay account and will be subject to an additional guest charge.
