Dr Mattias Brynjell-Rahkola

Dr Mattias Brynjell-Rahkola joined Peterhouse in 2024 as a Research Associate. He obtained his PhD degree at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden). Prior to his current appointment as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie (UKRI underwrite) postdoctoral fellow at Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Technical University of Ilmenau in Germany. Mattias's research interests include astrophysical dynamos, self-sustaining processes and laminar-turbulent transition in magnetohydrodynamic flows, dynamical systems theory, and high-order numerical methods for fluids and plasmas.
